A poignant tale of friendship between a lonely old man (Kevin) and his equally lonely young postman (Malcolm). The first film in a trilogy of shorts on the themes of loneliness, old age and dementia. letters is an intimate look at how lonely it can sometimes be living in a big city.
Funded by Apex Arts' Hitchcock Production Fund, letters was Anthony Hett's directorial debut.

Edward trained at RADA. Film/TV credits include: Radioactive, Detective Pikachu and The Little Drummer Girl. Credits at RADA include: When You Cure Me, Vinegar Tom, You Got Older, Clybourne Park and Cymbeline. Other stage credits include: Civil Rogues (Pleasance/RSC); (i feel fine), Winky, Specie and Uninvited (Fat Git Theatre). Edward is also a filmmaker and read English Literature at Warwick University.
Sam: Gehane Strehler
Géhane's theatre experience has seen her perform at The National Theatre, Theatre Royal Haymarket, Bristol Old Vic & York Theatre Royal amongst many others. She has voiced a BBC radio drama and several voice-overs. Her screen experience includes various shorts (“Veils” with Maureen Lipman & “Seed” with Antony Welsh), commercials (“Lexus Life” with Jude Law), pilots and television (ITV's “The Bill” & BBC TV Movie “The Child In Time” with Benedict Cumberbatch).

Anthony is a London based award winning Welsh Writer/Director and Poet who graduated from City, University of London in 2011, with an MA Creative Writing (Plays & Screenplays). Anthony has written and directed a trilogy of short films 'letters', 'waiting' and 'Scrable' (known collectively as - 'Only the Lonely').
